The Rev. Debra Sabino was ordained in the Diocese of Northern California in 1999. She has served parishes in the diocese since then. Debra has a love and passion for worship, liturgy and creating sacred spaces which help foster an encounter with the Holy Spirit.  She also has a special interest in Elder Mediation and works with families who are dealing with issues involving aging parents.

Debra is the head of the diocesan Safe Church Commission (http://www.norcalepiscopal.org/safechurch) for the diocese.

She has:

B.A.,  Eastern Michigan University, 

Certificate in Elder Mediation, Pepperdine University School of Law,

Certificate of Theological Studies, Franciscan School of Theology,

Prior to ordination she worked in conflict resolution as a mediator, a pastoral counselor, a hospice chaplain and an elementary school teacher.

She is married to Rob Sabino and has five children and three grandchildren.
