Donating to the Church:
The Church of Our Saviour is supported entirely through voluntary contributions from the congregation, visitors, and other supportive members of the community. We are a nonprofit organization, so your donations may be tax-deductible. You should consult with your tax advisor.
We will gladly accept donations of any size, by cash, check or credit card. Our two primary needs are for maintenance of our beloved, historic building, and for regular church operations (salaries, supplies, utilities, etc.) These are discussed below:
Save Our Saviour (Building Fund)
We are so grateful to everyone who has already donated to help preserve our beloved church building. We’d love for even more of you to join in and help protect this important part of our community. Every gift, no matter the size, is greatly appreciated.
You can donate by:
- Bringing or mailing your donation to the church, or
- Donating online using the form below.
Just make sure to write Building Fund in the memo line of your check or in the "Notes" section if donating online.
Operating Funds
Many of our parishioners make an annual pledge to support the church with a title or other weekly donation. These donations can be placed in the offering plate during Sunday services, mailed to the church, or donating online using the form below. Just make sure to write "tithe" in the notes section.
Fulfill Your Pledge With Tax-Free Dollars
If you have an IRA, you may be able to make charitable contributions directly from your account through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). These donations count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) but are not taxed as income, which could mean some tax savings for you.
To learn more about how this works, check with your financial institution, as not all retirement accounts are eligible. For more info, you can also read the latest IRS guidelines here: IRS Information on QCDs.
